We collaborate with two key diving partners to offer diving opportunities to anyone, even if you are wheelchair-bound or require special assistance. Dolphin Suites has been certified by the International Association for Handicapped Divers (IAHD).
CURIOUS 2 DIVE
The perfect place for new divers to get used to the water, CURious 2 DIVE offers an extensive introductory program. It gives divers of all skill levels the chance to experience what it is like in the unique underwater world.
Dolphin Suites has proudly partnered with Hans Pleij, founder of Curious2Dive, since the hotel's inception.
Curious2Dive is “the specialised” dive center in Curaçao offering training and fun dives & snorkel experiences specifically designed for individuals with special needs. Their team of IAHD-certified specialists provides creative, safe, and memorable diving experiences tailored to this unique community. They also offer exclusive dolphin dives for guests with disabilities. If you are wheelchair-bound, have a physical disability, or require special assistance, don’t let that stop you! Even if you are blind, the underwater world of Curaçao is beautiful!
Hans is dedicated to crafting personalized diving programs for guests with special needs, utilizing our beach wheelchair for accessible dives from even the most pristine beaches.
His attentive approach perfectly enhances our service. He will meet you at the hotel to discuss a personalized program together.
OCEAN ENCOUNTERS
Ocean Encounters, conveniently located opposite of the hotel and specialized in accessible group diving. They have four custom dive boats and quick access to some of the Caribbean’s most pristine and dramatic reefs: Tugboat, Barracuda Point, Booby Trap, and Diver’s Leap, to name a few.
The Ocean Encounters staff is made up of experienced PADI and/or SSI dive professionals. Their expertise will guide you on your underwater adventures, and act as a knowledgeable resource for answering questions.
