Dolphin Suites & Wellness celebrates 15 years of dedication with an impactful charity seminar and beautiful opening of the new wing hotel

More than 20,000 guilders raised for the SGR Group in Curaçao. Dolphin Suites & Wellness, which has been a symbol of excellent hospitality and dedicated community involvement since its inception, celebrated its 15th anniversary last week with several memorable events. A highlight of these festivities was the “Mindset & Resilience” charity seminar, which not only marked the anniversary milestone but also had a profound impact on Curaçao society.

The seminar, organized in honor of Dolphin Suites & Wellness' anniversary, focused on resilience, leadership and personal growth. It brought together a diverse group, ranging from local foundations such as Stichting Alton Paas, SGR-Groep, PWF & Sinta Ros to representatives from the business community and the general public, all united in the pursuit of a society full of resilience and inclusivity.

Several international and local speakers shared inspiring stories and insights. Minister Larmonie-Cecilia emphasized the power of solidarity and the empowerment and attention for vulnerable individuals in society. Franklin Girigori shared his personal rehabilitation experience and the support he found at SGR, while Niek van den Adel and Peter Kapitein shared their expertise in the field of resilience, the impact of good care and the basis of happiness in life with a smile and a tear. . Kirti Daryanan inspired the audience with her short workshop about a positive mindset and the power of your own thoughts.

In addition to inspiring people as much as possible, the starting point of the seminar was also to raise funds, with all proceeds going to the SGR Group for the construction of a music hall for their clients. Thanks to ticket sales, a raffle and a crowdfunding initiative by one of the speakers, a total amount of Nafl. 20,676 raised for this noble cause.

The festivities concluded Saturday with the opening of the new wing of Dolphin Suites & Wellness, an expansion that not only increases the number of rooms and amenities, but also strengthens the hotel's commitment to inclusivity. Partners Mike Schoon and Alette Borger shared their vision and gratitude, while the Minister of SOAW emphasized the importance of sustainable entrepreneurship and distinctiveness and innovation.

The celebration concluded with a spectacular fireworks show and musical performances, during which guests had the opportunity to explore the new facilities.
