Partners in care

Dolphin Suites was founded in 2008 by the Curacao Dolphin Therapy & Research Center (CDTC) and still hold a very close partnership in providing one of the world's best therapy programs.

The accommodation was initially established for families participating in the intensive 10-day dolphin assisted therapy program

Over the years  Dolphin Suites has become a popular accommodation for both guests with- and without special needs. However Dolphin Suites is still characterized as the most suitable accommodation for patients and their families participating in the dolphin assisted therapy program. Dolphin Suites offers special rates for participants in the dolphin assisted therapy program. Request a quote via reservations@dolphinsuites-curacao.com.

Flying with Autism Foundation

For many, traveling is an adventure, but for travelers with autism or sensory sensitivity, the prospect of a long journey – such as to the beautiful island of Curaçao – can feel overwhelming. The stress beforehand, a busy airport with all the procedures to follow, and then the long flight can lead to tension or uncertainty.

Each person with autism is unique and may experience greater difficulty with unfamiliar situations and changes in routines and structure. That’s why it’s important to choose an approach before and during the flight that matches the traveler’s specific sensory and emotional needs. Stichting Vliegen met Autisme (Flying with Autism Foundation) helps with this and is committed to lowering these barriers, ensuring the traveler is well-prepared for air travel.

With proper preparation and support, the flight can become less stressful and more manageable. This also allows for a calmer transition upon arrival, making it easier to start your vacation – or perhaps therapy – in comfort.

The Flying with Autism Foundation strives for accessible travel and guides you from your home base to an enjoyable stay at your destination.
