Restaurant Shift Leader @ Reefs Cafe & More...

As a restaurant shift leader, you oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service in both front and back of house. You lead and motivate staff, manage schedules, handle cash and sales reports, and maintain food quality and hygiene standards. You resolve customer issues, communicate with management and kitchen teams, support staff training, and ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

•   Supervise daily operations during assigned shifts.
•   Ensure smooth service flow in both front and back of house.
•   Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
•   Handle staff scheduling, task assignments, and breaks.
•   Manage cash handling and daily sales reports.
•   Monitor food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
•   Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
•   Communicate effectively with management and kitchen staff.
•   Support training of new employees and ongoing staff development.
•   Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements :

•   Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hospitality or restaurant supervision.
•   Strong leadership and communication skills.
•   Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.
•   Hands-on and proactive attitude – leads by example.
•   Fluent in English (Dutch and Papiamentu are a plus).
•   Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling.
•   Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
•   High sense of responsibility, honesty, and teamwork.

FULL time position, 45 hours per week

Working hours may very between 7AM-5PM

Shop Attendant @ Reefs Cafe & More...

What will you be doing?
Advising and assisting customers with their purchases. Being quick and customer-friendly.
Being proactive is a must. You'll ensure an attractive product display, a tidy store, and a pleasant shopping experience. Keeping track of order lists, checking inventory, printing price labels, communicating with management about low stock on time, checking delivered goods, etc.| Working with purchasing orders.

Who are we looking for?
Someone with a commercial mindset.

• Being able to work well with a computer/tablet is a must!
• Quick to pick up and learn how to use our POS system.
• Accurate and organized working style.
• Fluent in English and Dutch. Papiamentu and Spanish are a plus.
• Experience in sales is a plus.
• Flexible availability, especially during busy periods, holidays, weekends, etc.
• Willing to work extra hours when needed.
• A team player mindset.
• Enthusiastic about boosting sales!
  

What do we offer?

• A friendly work environment
• A part-time position, 8 – 24 hours per week
• Working hours may vary between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM
